Digital violence is real. So is our response.

In a world where digital technologies permeate our everyday lives, visibility is political and vulnerable. What was once intended as an emancipatory space is increasingly becoming the scene of targeted digital attacks: against feminist voices, against marginalized groups, against participation.
The term for this is e-bile, a particularly toxic form of digital hate speech that spreads under the guise of freedom of expression. What happens in comment columns is no coincidence, but an expression of structural inequality.
Cunt-erattack focuses on these dynamics.
The installation makes visible what would otherwise remain hidden: it shows the extent, patterns and social relevance of digital violence.
The focus is on a data-supported analysis: millions of comments from social networks were systematically collected, categorized and visually processed.
This not only raises the question of how digital hate works, but also what we can do to counter it.
