ANNIE

In addition to her job as a nurse, 27-year-old Annie also has to look after her five orphaned siblings. But the pressure of having to be breadwinner, protector and support all in one person finally becomes too much for her: she secretly decides to flee the responsibility. But just at that moment, she is brutally attacked by a masked assailant. She survives - but the shock is deep-seated. At the same time, a mysterious phenomenon is spreading around the world: people are afflicted by unbearable headaches for no apparent reason, and these headaches make their way outwards in unrestrained and misogynistic hate attacks. In this world that has gone off the rails, Annie gives refuge to a friend of the family who despises women. A fatal mistake, as the man gradually begins to take control of her life. Now, of all times, Annie falls in love with a musician. As the hatred around her becomes part of everyday life, her own grows. A desire for revenge on the person who has done all this to her.
